He was a graduate of Christopher Columbus High School. He was a talented athlete and was accepted to play on the farm league baseball teams for the NY Yankees and NY Giants. Bill was an Army veteran and served two years during the Korean Conflict.
Joseph is also survived by two grandchildren, Margaret and Colleen and two great-grandchildren, Rhylee and Paige. A Funeral Service and visiting hours was held at the Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan. John Andrew Dadas, of Orangeburg, NY, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family at his side. He owned and operated the Dyckman House Restaurant in New York City. Mrs. Hildebrand leaves behind one sister-in-law, Jean Liptak, of Nanuet and seven nieces and three nephews.

Charles W. Werlitz, 66, of Wappinger's Falls, NY, formerly of the Bronx, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was born in Fort Lee, NJ on July 11, 1943. Predeceased by his sister and brother Dolores and Herman Werlitz. After retiring from the Awning Industry in the early 1990's he spent his time learning the art of wood working, and mastering the computer and everyday technology. He was an inspirational man who was devoted to his family and friends.
Loving great-grandmother to Finn, Will, and Michael Connaughton. Carol was a longtime resident of Woodcliff Lake, where she raised her family. Resided at the Jewish Home Assisted Living in River Vale and later at her daughter’s home. She attended the Julliard School of Music, graduated from William Paterson University and Columbia University. She was a reading specialist and special education teacher at Bergen County Technical High School and Juvenile Detention Center in Paramus.

He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Marie, and his two brothers Pasquale and Allesio. Walter Lucas, of Tappan, passed away peacefully at home on November 17, 2014. Walter resided in Tappan for 32 years and previously resided in Nyack.

He was commanding officer of both the 32nd and 47th Precincts among other commands. James was a member and past president of the Hudson Valley 10-13, former treasurer for the Captains Endowment Assoc., member of Rockland County Shields, and Knights of Columbus of Blauvelt, NY. Ferdinand is survived by his wife of 50 years Catherine; his children, Louisa Matera, Catherine Leote and James Matera ; and the light and love of his life, his granddaughters Tyler, Emily, Julia, Sophia and Jamie.

He met and married Mary Louise Haubrich who was not only his wife but his soul mate. After raising their two children they traveled extensively in Europe. Together they had a love for art and music as they experienced the world.
She was born in Manhattan on September 11, 1925 to Nicholas and Isabella Treanor. Up until recently, Edie was a secretary for Dominican College and an active parishioner of St. Catharine’s Church and choir in Blauvelt for over 50 years. She travelled extensively and frequently to Ireland to visit her friends and family. Edie was blessed with many great friends and will be missed by all. A Memorial Service was held at the Piermont Reformed Church on Saturday, September 5th. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Piermont Reformed Church 361 Ferdon Avenue, Piermont, NY or Christ Episcopal Church, 416 Valentine Avenue, Sparkill , NY 10976. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Robert H., who died in 2002. Marilyn Cecelia Mayer, a resident of Blauvelt, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2009 with her family at her side.

Kenneth J. Scarry died peacefully at home on April 20, 2015. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Peggy, four children, Maggie , Jim , Tricia and Colleen . He was a beloved grandfather of seven grandchildren, Dea, Patrick, Conor, Meghan, Erin, Erin and James. He was the son of the late James and Rose Anne Scarry and brother to Patricia Duffy and the late Thomas Scarry. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, Vincent, who died in 2004.
Joseph was a graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School in the Bronx. After graduating he served in the United States Navy during World War II. Joseph started his career with NYPD at the 41st Precinct and retired as Detective in the Major Case Squad in 1973. He is survived by his children, Joseph Jr., Gerald, John, Eileen, and Frances.
He was a former co-owner of Guilio's Restaurant in Tappan. A Funeral Mass for Carol A. Ingaglio, a resident of Thorpe Village in Sparkill, was held at the Sacred Heart Chapel in Sparkill. Visiting hours were held at the Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, and his brother Robert C. Budinich. He was a dedicated employee for the John E. Andrus Memorial, in Hastings-on-Hudson for over 30 years as a laundry manager and retired in 1993, living locally in Orangeburg.
Hubert is a 1954 graduate of Tappan Zee High School in Piermont. While at TZHS, he lettered in football, basketball, and baseball, and was recognized with all-county designation for all three sports. He was enrolled in 1994 to the Rockland County Sports Hall of Fame, and in 2009, as a charter inductee to the Tappan Zee High School Hall of Fame. Hubert was a dedicated employee with the Town of Orangetown Highway Department from 1975 through 2000, and prior to that, Dexter Folder in Pearl River. In retirement, Hubert enjoyed playing golf with his friends at Blue Hill Golf Course in Orangeburg.

He was a long time parishioner of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Tappan. James was a decorated Navy war veteran who proudly served his country in World War II and the Korean War. After being discharged from the Navy, James, served in the NYPD. He retired from the NYPD after 28 years of service as a Deputy Inspector.

Rita was a devoted mother to her daughters; Patricia Henn and her husband William of Hillside, NJ, Mary Hagan of S. Nyack, mother of Alyssa Mathews and Robert Hagan; and Rosanne Stysly and her husband Terry of Madison, CT. Known as ‘Grandma the Great’, she was a loving grandmother of 18 and beloved ‘G.G.’ (great-grandmother) of 25. She was also predeceased by her sister Rosemary McKay. Donald E. Wolff (Col.), 87, on October 8, 2009, passed into eternal repose in the arms of his loving wife of 10 years, Bernadette Wolff.

Also survived by four great grandchildren Mikayla, Jay Jr., Rafael Jr., and Annison. Also survived by his sister Ellen and brother Joe, and many nieces and nephews. George will be deeply missed by his seven adoring grandchildren, Celine and Genevieve Wahlert, Liam McKenna, Brittany, J.P., Ashley and Emily Kennedy. He will also be missed by his many cousins, nieces and nephews.
